Diego Marin Librero-Editor, SL is constituted as a company dedicated to the diffusion and promotion of culture through the world of books and publishing since 1960. This activity involves a continuous and renewed professional effort in order to satisfy the needs and demands of our costumers in a technologically complex society.
To that end, Diego Marin offers a complete and detailed web page, www.diegomarin.com and www.dmebooks.com, where our wide bibliographical stock, composed of more than 562.000 national and foreign books published anywhere in the world, can be easily and rapidly consulted.
Our activity includes a complete bookshop service, subscriptions, Cd-Rom, publishing and distribution, import and export around the world and a clear commitment to new technologies, publishing and distributing E-Books.
The company Diego Marin Librero-Editor, SL has four bookshops in Region of Murcia and a virtual bookshop, where our customers can consult the latest publications classified by topics, as well as being attended by our specialized staff, who will advise and resolve any queries, by phone or email.
In 1978 we started our journey as a publishing company specialized mainly in university and scientific books. Since then, we have published more than 1900 books, the quality of which is testified by a wide demand in and out our regional boundaries.
Diego Marin has established itself as the first company of this nature in the Region of Murcia and surroundings, and it is still working everyday to provide a better and more complete service to its customers , who are our raison d'etre.
In recognition of its professional activity, Diego Marin Librero Editor, SL has won the following awards and prizes:
- Mercury Prize, awarded by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Region of Murcia.
- 2001 Distinguished Services Diploma, awarded by the Regional Assembly of Region of Murcia.
- 2005 Gold Medal for Work Merit, awarded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
- First Prize for Technological Innovation, awarded in 2009 by the Instituto de Fomento de la Region de Murcia.
- 2010 Alfonso X the Wise Gold Metal awarded by the University of Murcia.
- 2010 Bookseller of the Year awarded by the Association of Editors of Spain.
